about me

San Francisco-based artist Robert Hasson (b.1999 Tucson, AZ) has been painting for over a decade. With a degree in museum studies and the influence of an artistic parent, Robert has developed a unique style that blends various media. Utilizing oil, pastel, acrylic, and spray paint among other tools, Robert creates striking abstract scenes that captivate viewers. His works are a testament to his deep understanding of art history and contemporary techniques, mixed with his own life experiences as a queer BIPOC artist, making each piece a reflection of his artistic journey and heritage.

"As an artist my painting’s are intended to invite viewers to transcend their boundaries through a captivating fusion of color and dynamic forms. As a San Francisco-based artist with over a decade of experience and a background in museum studies, I like to draw from a rich artistic heritage, thanks to my mother. Utilizing mixed media, including oil, pastel, acrylic, and spray paint among other things, I like to create abstract, alluring, and sometimes even dark, striking scenes that challenge us to think bigger and dive deeper into our imagination.

My works serve as a powerful reminder of our innate potential, urging us to shed self-imposed limitations. I believe art has the power to shape our reality, and my intention is to demonstrate this transformative potential through each-piece. The paintings I create beckon viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery, pushing them to explore and achieve beyond what they thought possible. In every brushstroke and color choice, I aim to create a dialogue between the artwork and the viewer, fostering a deeper connection to the art and to oneself. My art is not just a visual experience but an invitation to embrace the endless possibilities within and around us."
